MD of BeyondPR becomes ISMM Fellow

Jon Gardner, founder and Managing Director of BeyondPR, has been awarded the prestigious title of ‘Fellow’, by the Institute of Sales & Marketing (ISMM) - the UK’s only professional body promoting professional standards of excellence in sales and marketing.

Jon has more than 20 years experience in the communications, sales & marketing industry, having worked for and with Lloyds TSB, Virgin Media (formerly Telewest/General Cable), Toyota, TXU Europe, AVAYA and Esporta among others.

ISMM Fellowships are awarded only to a small proportion of Members with Board level experience who have significant experience and expertise, as well as a track record of success in the industry. Jon said: “I’m thrilled to be awarded this Fellowship by the ISMM. It is good to know that our high standards, ethics, and all the work we have done in developing the BeyondPR brand so far have not gone unnoticed.”

Established in 1966, the ISMM has been an authoritative voice of selling and the custodian of sales standards, ethics and practice for over 35 years. Its Members are drawn from every sector of industry and commerce and they all share a commitment to upholding the highest standards of professionalism and integrity that are hallmarks of sales and marketing success.

Jon was one of the country’s first ever graduates in Public Relations and Business, graduating from Leeds Business School’s inaugural BA (Hons) course. He has been a full Member of the Chartered Institute of Public Relations (CIPR) for a number of years. The CIPR promotes and upholds high professional standards in the PR and communications industry, encouraging Members to subscribe to a Code of Ethics governing the professional management of client relationships, for example.
